Working with clay is a nice way to unwind and de-stress, while learning new skills.
Your hands, imagination and some simple tools are all you need to make something beautiful, useful, strange or funny. Or a little bit of everything.
There are many ways to create something with clay. You can build up the piece by hand – it can be solid to begin with and then hollowed out. Or work with slabs of clay. Or use one or more of the moulds provided. You can combine these shapes, build on them, or reshape them… To give your piece an interesting surface, you can use texture stamps, for example.Once your piece is finished, it is fired. Afterwards, you can glaze it. There are more than 30 shades of glaze to choose from.Making something by hand is rewarding – something you can be proud of. And you’ll go home with a unique piece. Bring your own ideas to life or choose a theme in consultation. There are so many possibilities!
