Working with clay is a nice way to unwind and de-stress, while learning new skills.
Your hands, imagination and some simple tools are all you need to make something beautiful, useful, strange or funny. Or a little bit of everything.
There are many ways to make something with clay. Hand-building, which can be solid and then hollowed out. Building hollow can also be done. Or working with slabs of clay. Or you work from one or more moulds that are present. You can combine those moulds, build further, deform them.
To give your work an interesting surface, you can use texture stamps, for example.
When your work is finished, it will be fired. Then you can glaze your work. There are more than 30 shades of glaze to choose from.
Making something by hand provides satisfaction, something you can be proud of. And you go home with a unique piece.

There is currently no pottery wheel available.
If there is room, you can join at any time.
The strippenkaart allows you to skip twice, provided you give 24 hours’ notice.
